Space Tent
Date : 2024-03-06 Time : 10:00:00On Wednesday and Thursday, 6-7 /3/2024 AD, Al-Khurmah University College, represented by the Student Activities Unit, witnessed the holding of an event entitled “Space Tent,” presented by the female students of the Alien Club and supervised by: Dr. Ghufran Al-Warfalli. The tent targeted:
１- Raising awareness of the importance of astronomy and its advantages for humanity in particular.
２- Highlighting the most important international pioneers and highlighting Saudi pioneers, especially pioneer Riana Barnawi.
３- Introducing the Saudi Space Agency through leaflets that were distributed.
４- Holding an astronomy competition and offering prizes to stimulate the spirit of activity among female students.
The event was held at the Astronauts Club in the female section, and the event was witnessed by His Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Sahari Al-Obaisi and a number of male and female faculty members at the club’s headquarters.
